What You’ll Be Doing
As our Tool Room Machinist, you’ll play a critical role in keeping our repair operations running at peak efficiency. You’ll be fabricating, maintaining, and modifying high-tolerance parts used in aviation applications, while supporting mechanics, engineers, and other departments with your expert machining skills.
- Collaborate closely with aircraft mechanics to support maintenance tasks and assist engineering with part fabrication and repairs.

- Skilled in maintaining ultra-tight tolerances, up to 0.0005 inches, in machining applications.
- Experienced in single-point turning operations on a manual lathe.
- Capable of reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation.
- TIG welding experience with aluminum is a plus, but not a requirement for the role.
- Open and adaptable to learning new equipment, processes, and advanced machining techniques.
Physical & Safety Requirements
This role requires a hands-on, shop-floor presence. Candidates must be physically capable, safety-conscious, and able to perform essential tasks that support precision machining in a production environment.
- Physically able to lift and maneuver items up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Strong manual dexterity with the ability to assemble small parts accurately and efficiently.
